Hi all,
Just a quick question about a spa book I was looking at. Has anyone ever read The Handcrafters Companion Book (E-book) If you have is it worth paying for the download?
Any other book suggestions for spa (lotions, butters etc) Would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Diane,
I purchased a copy of this ebook about 18 months ago. I was unhappy with it and got a refund. As I remember, it said it was "spa quality" products and they weren't. There are better recipes and advice on this forum and on Debbie's blog.
I'd say save your money. Have you looked in your local library for books by Stephanie Tourles, Janice Cox and Greta Breedlove? They might not have the info that you want but you could tweak any recipes you find and develop your own recipes.

Thanks so much for your response. I really appreciate you sharing your personal experience with this book. I will look in the library for the authors you named. I have also really enjoyed all the information on the forum and Debbie's site. Everyone is so generous with their recipes and info.
Thanks again,
Diane B jr

If I was going to pay for anything, I'd consider her work.
