I wanted to try making cpop soap. I have tried hp but didn't really like the texture of the final product. Can anyone tell me if I can use goats milk with this process? How much does it speed the process, can the soaps be used right away?

I have always wanted to know the best way to HP with an oven. I have only HP'd with a crock pot. Now that I know the temp to cook it at, I will give it a try. When my cphp is done cooking I give it a stir (until it doesn't look like vaseline anymore) and then add any fragrances and additives. But you leave it in the turned-off oven overnight without first stirring it? Does it go through gel stage and what does it look like in the morning? Just curious. How/when do you add fragrance if you add any at all? Do you have any pictures to share?
I let my CPHP soap sit ideally for a month. This way it hardens up. In my experience HP soap that is used right away does not last as long as soap that is cured for a month. The harder the soap, the longer it will last. It is also good to put your soap on a slotted soap dish to dry out in between showers.
I have also heard it is ok to use HP soap right away since the soap is cooked, thus essentially cooking the lye out of the soap. Anybody please correct me if I am getting this wrong.
Thanks for the info on CPOP!

I CPOPed my last goat milk soap, but I did not use all gm. My recipe called for 17 ozs of water and I used 7 ozs gm and 10 ozs avj. I put it in the oven and turned it off, unmolded and cut it the next morning... no overheating. hth
